Skilled teachers are on hand to demonstrate techniques when one is enrolled for classes. See class schedule to join. At Clayworks, we order glazes, make some of our own with ingredients from our chemical supplies, or use stains and underglazes.
Utilizing our electric kilns, we can produce stunning effects.

Documentation of Clayworks receipt of ACE Grant for Gallery, Student Scholarships!
In May, 2005, Clayworks was one of 24 Cleveland-area organizations awarded an ACE (Arts and Culture as Economic Development) Grant by the Cuyahoga County Department of Development. We will use the grant money to help us build a gallery so that co-op members will have a venue to show their art to the public. We also received funds to promote Clayworks programs in the community and to provide financial aid for low-income students who would like to enroll in our classes. We are very excited at this opportunity to add to the artistic vitality of Cleveland Heights!

Thank you to our sponsors, The Board of Commissions of the Department of Development of the City of Cleveland from whom we received an Arts & Culture as Economic Development (ACE) grant. With their help, we can now improve our marketing effort to increase enrollment in our classes as well as provide tuition scholarships to low-income students.
